ICU INCHARGE (Hospital) Full Time

An ICU Incharge (or Critical Care Nurse Manager) is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical, administrative, and educational operations of the Intensive Care Unit. They bridge the gap between bedside nurses, medical staff, and hospital administration to ensure patient safety and high-quality critical care. The core responsibilities of an ICU Incharge can be organized into the following areas:

Clinical & Patient Care Oversight

• Patient Monitoring: Ensure nursing staff properly assess and monitor critically ill patients, accurately recording vital signs and treatment plans.
• Emergency Response: Lead the team in responding to medical emergencies and ensure life-saving equipment (ventilators, defibrillators) is operational.
• Care Coordination: Manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges while maintaining strict compliance with medical protocols.

Staff Management & Leadership

• Mentorship: Orient, mentor, and evaluate the competence of new nurses and clinical students.
• Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve patient/family concerns and manage interpersonal issues among the healthcare team.

Administration & Resource Management

• Inventory Control: Maintain adequate stock levels of emergency supplies, drugs, and other medical consumables.
• Record Keeping: Ensure patient charts and medical documentation are accurate, complete, and filed chronologically.
• Reporting: Provide routine reports on unit performance, staff productivity, and patient outcomes to hospital management.

Safety & Quality Controls

• Infection Control: Enforce strict compliance with hand hygiene, universal precautions, and biomedical waste management.
• Quality Audits: Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement programs to elevate the standard of care

Pay: ₹15,000.00 – ₹28,000.00 per month
