Type: Permanent (on-site)

Job Purpose

Ensure safe and efficient operation of refinery/petrochemical units during the shift while maintaining process parameters and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate plant units (CDU/VDU, reactors, compressors, utilities) via DCS
• Maintain process parameters (temperature, pressure, flow, level)
• Handle start-up, shutdown, and emergency situations
• Lead and supervise field operators during the shift
• Ensure compliance with HSE, PTW, and LOTO procedures
• Troubleshoot process issues and minimize downtime
• Coordinate with Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation teams
• Maintain shift logs, production incident reports

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Chemical / Mechanical / Petroleum
• 3 years experience in refinery/petrochemical/oil gas plants
• Knowledge of DCS, PID, process operations
