Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Hyderabad for an India Site Head – Plant Operations. The ideal candidate would serve at the COO level defining, driving and implementing the strategy and vision for the India Site. The candidate will closely work with the CEO, the US Team and all the India Leaders to drive and achieve the site goals and targets. The candidate will oversee Plant operations, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain and ancillary functions, including production planning, quality control, and budgeting, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include managing production, quality and supply chain teams, optimizing processes, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Plant Operations and as Site Head overseeing all the functions to drive the strategy, vision and operations for the site
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or animal health industry is a must
• Strong skills in Workforce & Production Planning & Operations and Budgeting to efficiently manage resources and costs
• Experience in Quality Control to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and product excellence
• Demonstrated Leadership and team management abilities
• Proficiency in identifying and implementing process improvement strategies
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Business Management, or a related field
