Position Summary
The Manager (India) – Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational activities of BizCloud Experts’ India office. This individual will act as the primary operational liaison between the India team and global leadership, ensuring seamless service delivery, team performance, and adherence to company standards. The role demands a strong blend of operational acumen, people management skills, and a deep understanding of the IT services landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
• Oversee all day-to-day operations of the India office, ensuring efficiency, quality, and alignment with global objectives.
• Define, implement, and continuously improve operational processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across delivery, support, HR, and finance teams.
Team Management
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team across multiple functions.
• Drive performance management cycles including goal-setting, appraisals, and development plans.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented workplace culture.
• Partner with HR on talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, and succession planning.
Client & Delivery Excellence
• Ensure service delivery teams meet or exceed defined SLAs and client satisfaction benchmarks.
• Act as an escalation point for critical operational and client issues, driving timely resolution.
• Collaborate with delivery managers to align resource planning with project and client demands.
Strategic & Financial Oversight
• Support the development and execution of the India operations strategy in alignment with global business goals.
• Manage operational budgets, cost optimization initiatives, and vendor relationships.
• Identify growth opportunities, operational risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Prepare business reviews, forecasts, and strategic presentations for leadership.
Compliance & Governance
• Ensure adherence to company policies, labor laws, data privacy regulations (including GDPR where applicable), and industry standards.
• Maintain operational risk registers and ensure business continuity planning is in place.
• Champion a culture of compliance, ethics, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is strongly preferred.
Experience
• 8–12 years of progressive experience in operations management, preferably within IT services, cloud consulting, or technology-driven organizations.
• Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams of 30+ people.
• Experience working in a global delivery model with stakeholders across the US, Europe, or APAC.
• Prior exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or managed IT services is a distinct advantage.
Skills & Competencies
• Exceptional leadership and people management capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (PMP, Agile, ITIL preferred).
• Hands-on experience with operations tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong business acumen with experience managing P&L or operational budgets.
