The Role

We are hiring an Integrated Marketing Manager to work directly on client accounts. This person will be the connective tissue between Tagent and the founders we serve – understanding their products, speaking to their customers, and translating all of it into marketing assets that actually get used.

This is not a strategy role. You will be executing on plans that have been pre-built as per the need of the clients. The bar is high: our clients are funded tech founders who interact with investors, enterprise buyers, and press. Everything that goes out under their name has to be polished.

What You Will Do

Product Marketing

• Create product positioning one-pagers, launch assets, and messaging frameworks for client product releases
• Write sales enablement material and competitive battle cards based on briefs from the team
• Work closely with founders to understand their product deeply enough to speak about it accurately

Customer Marketing

• Interview founders’ customers and users to extract stories, outcomes, and proof points
• Turn those conversations into polished case studies, testimonials, and reference content
• Build customer advocacy assets that can be used across sales, LinkedIn, and campaigns

Content Marketing

• Execute LinkedIn content calendars for multiple founder clients, understand the nuances of ghostwriting
• Write and manage newsletters, long-form articles, and thought leadership content
• Support podcast production by preparing briefs, summaries, and post-production content

Other Marketing Engagements

• Pick up new marketing scopes as they come in
• Stay in constant communication with founder clients to stay current on what’s happening in their business
• Ensure all deliverables are on time, on brief, and at the quality standard Tagent is known for

Who You Are

• You are a strong writer – this is non-negotiable. You can write in someone else’s voice.
• You are execution-oriented. You meet deadlines.
• You are polished and professional. Can hold a conversation with a Series B founder or their VP of Marketing without breaking a sweat.
• You are intellectually curious. Ability to ramp up on a B2B SaaS product in 24 hours and write about it credibly.
• You know when to flag a concern once and then execute on the direction you were given.
• You have 2–5 years of experience in content, marketing, or a similar discipline.
• Experience at a content agency, B2B SaaS company, or branded content desk is a strong plus.

How We Will Evaluate You

• Round 1, Writing Test: 

You will be given a 10-minute founder interview recording text. You will write a LinkedIn post in their voice and a short product positioning paragraph from the same material.

• Round 2, Customer Story Roleplay: 

We will roleplay a customer interview. You will ask the questions, extract the story, and produce a case study blurb within 24 hours.

• Round 3, Culture & Fit: 

A conversation with the founding team. We want to understand how you think about execution, client relationships, and quality.
