Intern – Sourcing/NPD(Carmesi) Full Time

Location:- Vikhroli West, Mumbai.

About the role:- You’ll work directly with the brand team on the operational backbone of bringing new products to life — from building BOMs and chasing vendor samples to maintaining project trackers and supporting sourcing decisions. It’s a role for someone who wants to understand how consumer products actually get made, not just marketed.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY-TO-DAY:-

• Build and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for new product briefs
• Assist in preparing product briefs and spec sheets
• Coordinate sample requests and follow up with vendors on timelines
• Support packaging and artwork coordination between brand and vendor
• Maintain the NPD project tracker and flag delays to the team
• Conduct competitor and category research to support NPD decisions
• Research and shortlist potential vendors and raw material suppliers
• Help organise sample libraries and maintain sourcing records
• Collate vendor quotes and prepare basic cost comparison sheets
• Sit in on vendor calls and assist with meeting notes and follow-ups

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:-

• Recently completed an undergraduate degree (business, supply chain, design, or similar — all backgrounds considered)
• Strong MS Excel / Google Sheets skills
• Good written and verbal communication in English
• Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive about following up
• Ability to be on-site in Mumbai full-time

NICE TO HAVE:-

• Any prior exposure to retail, FMCG, buying, or operations
• Basic understanding of supply chain or product development concepts
• Experience building structured trackers or documentation
• Genuine interest in femcare, sustainability, or consumer brands

PATH TO FULL-TIME:-

High-performing interns will be considered for a full-time role as a Brand NPD & Sourcing Executive at the end of the 3-month period. Conversion is based on a structured performance evaluation covering quality of work, ownership, and collaboration.
