Position Purpose
The engineer/developer is working closely with his team members and business teams to develop features according to a requirement.
He must also ensure that developments are aligned with best practices and monitor what has been promoted on higher environments.
Production follow up, tests, supports activities are part of his daily activity (job monitoring, issues solving, …)
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
Providing technical and functional support to users
Managing incidents within the scope of reporting by ensuring that the service is restored as quickly as possible with complete transparency regarding the Business
Line: Referencing, communication, coordination, correction, drafting of PIRs (Post Incident Reviews)
Guaranteeing the eradication of problems
Ensuring the proper management of application access by following the recommendations applicable to its scope
Contributing to the construction of production dashboards and undertaking the actions defined for improving the service
Implementing the system and parameters used to monitor its scope
Monitoring the smooth implementation of processing according to the production plan
Checking the functional and technical quality of the interfaces / transfers between applications
Monitoring the condition of the application’s technical components
Checking the proper running of application backups and restorations
Drafting and maintaining operating procedures
Drafting and maintaining a technical documentation framework
Participating in the drafting and review of the application user manual provided by the development
teams
Enriching and updating the knowledge base
Analysing and monitoring application performance data (traces, logs, events, etc.) in order to improve service quality and the user experience.
In line with the business requirements, managing the capacity elements of the application
Carrying out data purges in accordance with the business line
Performing technical integration of applications using existing products and services in order to reduce implementation times
Defining and implementing monitoring and facilitating the supervision of services
Scheduling batch processing
Providing expertise to ITOps, notably for production and infrastructure requirements
Estimating the APS workload for implementing changes
Defining a schedule in conjunction with the various teams (Development, Operation, Business Lines, etc.)
