IT Manager-Manufacturing Industry Full Time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

IT Infrastructure & Operations

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and security systems.
• Ensure high availability of IT systems supporting manufacturing operations.
• Oversee SCADA, MES, and industrial IoT (IIoT) systems integration with ERP.
• Ensure proper backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.

ERP & Manufacturing Systems Management

• Lead the implementation, maintenance, & optimization of ERP (SAP etc.).
• Work closely with various departments to enhance IT-enabled manufacturing processes.
• Support automation, robotics, and smart factory initiatives.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

• Implement cybersecurity measures to protect operational and enterprise data.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, and industry-specific regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits.

IT Support & User Training

• Provide technical support for plant operations, production lines, and office staff.
• Train employees on IT best practices, security awareness, and system usage.

Vendor & Budget Management

• Manage and monitor IT procurement, vendor relationships, and contracts for hardware, software, and network services.
• Develop and control IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective technology investments.

Project Management & Digital Transformation

• Lead Industry 4.0 initiatives, including cloud migration, predictive maintenance, AI/ML, and IoT adoption.
• Oversee IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.

Knowledge

The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:

• Computer hardware and software systems
• Computer networks, network administration and network installation
• Computer troubleshooting
• Computer viruses and security
• E-mail and internet
• Must have a general knowledge about general IT infrastructure
