As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a dedicated IT Support Engineer to manage and support our IT infrastructure, systems, networks, devices, and security operations.
Job Description
Dhillon Charter is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide technical support, monitor IT infrastructure, maintain hardware and software systems, and ensure business continuity through proactive maintenance and security management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting desktops, laptops, servers, networking equipment, printers, backup systems, and cybersecurity initiatives while working closely with internal teams and external vendors.

- Proactive approach toward cybersecurity and system maintenance
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Software & Hardware Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues
- Support business applications and end-user systems
- Configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
- Assist users with technical queries and system-related issues
2. Infrastructure Monitoring & Optimization
- Monitor server, desktop, and laptop performance
- Identify and resolve system errors and performance bottlenecks
- Ensure optimal system uptime and reliability
- Implement preventive maintenance procedures
3. Server, Desktop & Laptop Maintenance
- Perform regular system maintenance and health checks
- Manage disk space, system logs, and performance optimization
- Install Windows updates and security patches
- Coordinate scheduled reboots and maintenance activities
4. Workstation Administration
- Monitor workstation health and security compliance
- Deploy and maintain operating system updates
- Manage third-party software updates including Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Adobe products, and other business applications
- Configure new workstations and user accounts
5. Network Administration
- Monitor routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Configure and maintain network devices and firmware
- Ensure network connectivity and performance
- Support VPN and remote access solutions
6. Printer & Device Management
- Monitor printer health, connectivity, and performance
- Troubleshoot printing and scanning issues
- Coordinate printer maintenance and servicing
7. Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Monitor daily backup jobs and ensure successful completion
- Maintain backup and recovery systems
- Support disaster recovery planning and testing
- Create and maintain server images and recovery procedures
8. Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Deploy and maintain endpoint protection solutions
- Monitor security alerts and vulnerabilities
- Ensure timely deployment of security patches
- Assist in implementing cybersecurity best practices
9. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
- Generate reports on system health, security, and performance
- Document network infrastructure and configurations
- Assist management with technical recommendations and planning
10. Additional IT Services
- Assist with technology procurement and vendor coordination
- Install and upgrade software applications
- Perform hardware upgrades and replacements
- Configure mobile devices for business use
- Support CCTV installation and maintenance projects
Qualification & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in IT Support, System Administration, or Infrastructure Management
- Knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop environments
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and Microsoft technologies
- Basic understanding of virtualization and cloud technologies is an advantage
- Familiarity with backup solutions and cybersecurity practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
