Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional IT System Support Position to join our onsite support team. The role requires providing technical support for installed products at premium client sites, including 5-star and 7-star hotels. The candidate must demonstrate strong technical expertise, adherence to professional grooming standards, and the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Follow the grooming standards of the assigned site, including dress/uniform, facial grooming, and overall professional appearance.
2) Report to the assigned site as per the defined roster, adhering to scheduled date and time.
3) Work in coordination with fellow colleagues and the site IT Manager to execute daily roles and service delivery activities.
4) Attend to guest calls and resolve product-related issues within the support scope; escalate to the Centralized Support Desk when required.
5) Report incidents and requests to the Centralized Support Desk for ticket creation, ensuring each issue is logged with a unique ticket number
6) Perform mandatory daily health checks on all enabled features, including visited and pre-arrival rooms, and record them in specified sheets.
7) Comply with any ad-hoc requests from the IT Manager or MSR team, and ensure updates are reported to the Centralized Support Desk.
8) Prepare and submit a daily report (Excel format) of all attended activities, including date and details, to the designated distribution list.
9) Respond to requests for real-time feature or hardware testing by arranging room access and executing required checks.
10) Coordinate with the Inventory department for spare hardware requirements, procurement of parts, and repair of faulty hardware.
11) Be flexible to support ad-hoc requests, including visits to multiple sites within a day, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1) Strong knowledge of computer hardware and networking.
2) Working knowledge of Linux operating systems.
3) Good troubleshooting, documentation, and reporting skills.
4) Professional grooming, communication, and customer-handling skills.
5) Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with teams.
6) Open to travel within the city and across India when required.
Education & Experience:
Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field.
Prior experience in field support / onsite IT support preferred, ideally in hospitality or client-facing environments
