Role Description This is a full-time remote Journalist role at Quality Nutrición a su medida. The Journalist will research, pitch, and develop original stories related to nutrition, health, and wellness that align with the company’s editorial and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include conducting interviews with experts and clients, verifying information and data, and transforming complex nutritional topics into clear, accessible content. The role involves writing and editing articles, reports, and multimedia scripts for digital channels, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to deadlines. The Journalist will also collaborate with marketing, design, and social media teams to adapt stories for different platforms and measure audience engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong reporting and investigative skills, including interviewing sources, verifying facts, and gathering data from credible references.
- Proficiency in writing and editing clear, accurate, and engaging journalistic content for digital channels.
- Ability to translate complex health and nutrition topics into accessible, inclusive, and evidence-based stories.
- Familiarity with digital publishing tools, content management systems, and basic SEO practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated experience in news, features, or specialized beats such as health, science, or nutrition is highly desirable.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong ethical judgment, commitment to journalistic integrity, and respect for confidentiality and privacy standards.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills (especially Spanish) are a plus.
