The following vacancy is for its Kolkata Office in Tapsia, near Park Circus and Science City.

Role Overview

We are seeking an Accounts Executive to support corporate compliance, GST/tax processes, and marketplace accounting operations. The role involves working closely with internal teams and consultants to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance adherence, and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute corporate compliances including ROC filings, TDS, GST returns, and related statutory requirements
• Perform GST and tax-related activities: return preparation, validation, reconciliations, and ITC review
• Pass necessary accounting entries aligned with compliance and reporting requirements
• Handle marketplace operations, including:
• Settlement reconciliations
• Fee validation
• Returns and refunds tracking
• Validate accounting of marketplace transactions and identify/report discrepancies
• Prepare compliance-related and marketplace MIS reports
• Track compliance timelines, notices, and documentation requirements
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external consultants
• Support audit activities and documentation
• Assist in process improvements and strengthening internal controls

Skills & Competence

• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
• Working knowledge of TDS and GST
• Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel
• Good command over English communication
• Problem-solving mindset with focus on process improvement and controls
• High attention to detail and accuracy

Experience & Qualification

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in Accounts/Finance
• Graduate in Commerce or related field (Postgraduate preferred)
• Experience in e-commerce / marketplace / D2C business models will be an advantage
• Candidates with audit firm exposure preferred
