Job Summary:

• We are looking for a Junior QA with 1-2 years of experience to join our growing team. The role involves functional, API, and exploratory testing, ensuring high product quality, and collaborating with developers for better test coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as Jira.
• Perform API testing using Postman.
• Ensure 100% defect logging accuracy with proper severity, steps, and evidence.
• Assist in test planning and test documentation.
• Ensure proper coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements.
• Participate in retrospectives and suggest QA process improvements.
• Contribute to knowledge-sharing and peer review sessions.
• Report testing progress, blockers, and risks on time.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 1-2 years of proven experience in Quality Assurance and Testing.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Jira for test case management and defect tracking.
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman.
• Basic familiarity with automation tools (Selenium/Appium exposure preferred).
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Managerial experience is a plus but not mandatory (no team management responsibility).
