Job Title: Lead – IT Infrastructure & Systems Engineering

Location: Bengaluru – Whitefield

Role Overview

Hands-on technical lead responsible for network infrastructure, Linux systems (including GPU servers), distributed edge deployments, monitoring, and internal IT operations. Will manage a team of 2–3 engineers and act as architecture owner and L3 escalation point.

Key Responsibilities

Network & Security

• Design and manage routers, switches, firewalls (traditional & next-gen)
• Implement VPNs, VLANs, routing, NAT, and security policies
• Manage leased line connectivity and site networking

Internal IT

• Manage internal network, firewall, and servers
• Oversee endpoint provisioning and security
• Maintain documentation and backup processes

Linux & High-Performance Systems

• Configure and maintain Linux servers, including GPU-based systems
• Optimize performance, storage, and networking
• Ensure OS hardening, patching, and system reliability

Distributed Edge Infrastructure

• Oversee deployment and lifecycle management of Linux edge devices
• Implement remote provisioning, monitoring, and upgrades
• Ensure scalability as fleet grows

Technical Leadership

• Lead and mentor 2–3 engineers
• Define infra standards, security baselines, and deployment processes
• Review configurations and act as escalation point
• Drive automation and operational efficiency

Required Skills

• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, VPNs)
• Advanced Linux administration
• Experience with distributed systems / edge deployments
• Firewall configuration experience
• Monitoring and observability systems experience
• Automation/config management (e.g., Ansible or similar)
• Team leadership experience

Experience

• 5–10 years experience
• Background in infra-heavy product company / MSP / system integrator
• Prior experience leading small teams

Hands-on leadership role with ownership of infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹700,000.00 – ₹1,000,000.00 per year
