Job Title: Lead – Social Commerce (community + weddings + revenue focus)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Lead – Social Commerce to drive revenue through community-led growth and high-impact social engagement. This role will focus on building and leveraging communities around celebrity weddings, luxury/big-fat weddings, and social moments to create scalable business opportunities.
The ideal candidate understands how culture, content, and commerce intersect—and can convert social buzz into measurable revenue.
Key Responsibilities
1. Community Building & Engagement
Build and nurture high-value communities across platforms (Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube, etc.)
Develop niche communities around weddings, luxury lifestyle, and celebrity culture
Drive engagement strategies including conversations, UGC (user-generated content), and social interactions
Identify and activate micro-communities (brides-to-be, wedding planners, stylists, influencers)
2. Social Commerce Strategy
Own end-to-end social commerce funnel: discovery → engagement → conversion
Launch and scale commerce initiatives via social platforms (live selling, drops, curated collections)
Collaborate with content, performance, and product teams to drive conversion-led campaigns
3. Celebrity & Wedding-Led Business Development
Leverage celebrity weddings and high-profile events to create trend-led commerce opportunities
Build partnerships with:
Wedding planners
Stylists
Influencers
Celebrity managers
Identify “moment marketing” opportunities during big-fat weddings and cultural events
4. Revenue & Growth Ownership
Own revenue targets from social commerce channels
Develop monetization models for communities (exclusive drops, premium access, collaborations)
Track and optimize key metrics: CAC, conversion rates, AOV, repeat purchase
5. Influencer & Creator Ecosystem
Build and manage a strong network of creators and influencers
Drive collaborations for product placements in weddings and social events
Scale affiliate and creator-led commerce programs
6. Content & Trend Intelligence
Stay ahead of trends in weddings, fashion, and social media
Translate trends into shoppable content and campaigns
Work closely with content teams to create viral, conversion-focused assets
Key Requirements:
5–8 years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, or social commerce
Proven track record of driving revenue through social channels
Strong understanding of Indian wedding ecosystem & luxury consumer behavior
Experience working with influencers, celebrities, or event ecosystems
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build from scratch
Professional Qualifications:
Experience in D2C, fashion, lifestyle, or wedding-related industries
Strong network in wedding planners / celebrity ecosystem
Prior experience with live commerce or community monetization

Revenue contribution from social commerce
Community growth & engagement rates
Conversion rates from social channels
Influencer ROI and campaign performance
