Lead Windows Engineer Full Time NEW

• Support and manage Microsoft Windows Server environments both on-premises and in the
• cloud. Design, support, and administer Exchange Online, Azure, Intune.
• Maintain public DNS with in-depth knowledge and experience.
• Manage and administer Windows Server operating systems and server roles.
• Troubleshoot OS-related issues, including memory dump analysis and performance tuning.
• Implement server security hardening measures such as patching, antivirus, IPSec encryption,
• and security policies.
• Manage Microsoft Failover Clustering and Network Load Balancing (NLB) services.
• Design server infrastructure across various hardware platforms with expertise in storage,
• networking, and firewalls.
• Use PowerShell scripting to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Implement and manage server roles/services including:

• IIS, FTP, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, DFS, DFSR, NPS
• Develop repeatable solutions to enhance operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage and maintain hybrid cloud environments as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues in cloud and hybrid environments, providing solutions, root cause analysis,
• and mitigation strategies.
• Identify and implement optimization strategies to reduce costs for customer workloads.
• Maintain a solid understanding of ITIL processes including incident, change, and problem
• management.

Support Microsoft applications and services such as:

• Office 365 Administration
• Intune
• Microsoft Purview
• Provide support for Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune, including endpoint security and policy
• configuration.
• Possess strong PowerShell scripting skills.
• Understand and manage Microsoft licensing.
• Configure and build server hardware both on-premises and in the cloud.
• Manage solution design with third-party suppliers.
• Maintain relationships with third-party suppliers, overseeing service health and SLAs.

Work with Azure Active Directory, including:

• AAD Connect
• Identity and Access Management
• MFA
• Conditional Access
• Manage Azure disaster recovery and business continuity using Azure Backup and Azure Site
• Recovery.
• Design and document infrastructure solutions effectively.
• Have skills in cloud telephony.
• Work with various backup software solutions for on-premises and cloud environments,
• preferably Cohesity.
• Having knowledge of relational database systems is an advantage.
• Manage Exchange in hybrid mode between on-premises and Microsoft 365.

Oversee Microsoft 365 management, including:

• SharePoint
• OneDrive
• Intune
• Exchange Online
• Adhere to strict management procedures to ensure compliance with standards.
• Utilize a helpdesk ticketing system for response tracking.
• Maintain Wintel inventory.
• Ensure daily backups are completed and optimized, including regular recovery testing.
• Follow and update disaster recovery procedures and processes.
• Maintain, improve, and optimize documentation, processes, and procedures within the
• infrastructure environment.
• Manage the lifecycle and patch management of all Wintel infrastructure, ensuring systems
• remain up to date using WSUS/SCCM.
• Assist with purchasing server equipment and costing for cloud services as directed by senior
• engineers or the Infrastructure Manager.
• Create, submit, and implement infrastructure changes according to change control procedures.
• Apply standard concepts, best practices, and procedures within the field of infrastructure.
• Utilize existing and emerging technologies to enhance global service delivery.
• Work closely with the global helpdesk support team.
• Provide escalated support to users while participating in on-call support rotations.
• Assist in managing risks and tracking infrastructure issues.

Knowledge & Experience

• Relevant Microsoft and Azure certifications/accreditations
• Excellent technical experience across on-premises and cloud IT infrastructure
• environments
• Minimum 10+ Years of experience in Windows Environment.
