Brief

To act as a finance business partner to the Marketing function, ensuring optimal utilization of marketing budgets, Disciplined financial governance, Periodical Update of Marketing Job Rate Card, Audit Adherence on Spends and compliance while supporting business growth through data-driven financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Budgeting & Financial Planning
• Prepare and manage annual and periodic marketing budgets (ATL, BTL, digital, trade marketing, activations, promotions).
• Monitor budget vs. actuals and highlight variances with corrective action plans.
• Coordinate with Corporate Finance for Monthly Provisions
• Spend Control & Governance
• Ensure financial discipline and approvals for marketing spends as per DOA.
• Verify vendor contracts, rate cards, and commercial terms before release of payments.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and compliance standards.
• Vendor & Commercial Management
• Review commercial proposals from agencies and vendors.
• Support negotiations and ensure value-for-money commercial structures.
• Control accruals, provisions, and timely settlements.
• Business Partnering, Reporting and MIS
• Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Activation, Digital, and Product teams.
• Publish monthly dashboards and management reports on marketing spends.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and reviews.
• Maximize Digitisation of all Marketing Activities and thoroughly control and improvise on VRATT
