Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned HR Manager with strong generalist expertise to lead and strengthen the HR function. The role demands a hands-on leader who can build teams, institutionalize processes and support business expansion, including international operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor and develop the HR team to ensure high performance and scalability
- Build a strong second line and continuously upskill team members
- Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration and performance
2. HR Generalist Operations
- Oversee end-to-end HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, PMS, employee engagement, compliance, payroll coordination and exits
- Ensure smooth HR operations across multiple business verticals
3. Policy Formulation & HRSS Development
- Design, implement and continuously improve HR policies aligned with business growth
- Develop and strengthen HR Shared Services (HRSS) for operational efficiency and standardization
- Ensure compliance with statutory and organizational requirements
4. Training & Development
- Identify training needs and design structured learning programs
- Conduct and drive training initiatives for both new and existing employees
- Build leadership pipelines and capability development frameworks
5. International HR Operations
- Overlook and support HR operations for international projects/locations
- Handle cross-border HR challenges including onboarding, compliance coordination, and employee lifecycle management
6. Strategic HR Initiatives
- Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals
- Support expansion into new verticals like BESS and residential segments
- Drive organizational development, workforce planning and culture-building initiatives
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in HR (Manufacturing or Service industry preferred)
- Proven experience in handling and leading HR teams
- Strong HR Generalist exposure across core HR functions
- Experience in policy formulation and process development
- Exposure to training and capability development initiatives
- Experience or exposure to international HR operations will be an added advantage
