Job Description – Server (Linux) & Storage Manager

· 10+ years’ experience in server infra architecture preferably from Linux, Storage in large corporate network.

· Recent experience in Cloud preferably AWS, Implementation, manage and maintain multiple large and small-sized on-prem Servers & storage and Cloud environments across IAP.

· Plan, Build and Implement cloud projects and involve in rectifying Operational issues on cloud and On premises servers & storages, Security Improvisations.

· Implementing various cloud concepts including computing, networking and billing validation.

· Experience in creating and managing multiple EC2 Instances or Elastic beanstalk environments for application deployment

· AWS, AZURE ACL / SSL certificate implementation on hosted application

· Setup/Managing Linux Servers on Amazon (EC2, EBS, ELB, SSL, Security Groups, RDS and IAM).

· Setup/Managing Windows Servers on Azure (VMs, BLOB, LB, SSL, Security Groups, Network and IAM).

· Setup/Managing VPC, Subnets; make the connection between different zones; Blocking suspicious ip/subnet via ACL

· Strong understanding of different versions of Linux – Server provisioning, Patching, vulnerability remediation, performance tuning and upgrade

· Schedules and performs installations & upgrades as per requirement.

· Maintain system security and backup / recovery procedures.

· Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning

· Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware

· Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment

· Proficiency in handling Cloud, Linux and Windows based Incidents, Change and Problem tickets

· Experience in troubleshooting distributed systems and good in monitoring tools

· Managing AMI/Snapshots/Volumes, Upgrade/downgrade AWS,AZURE resources (CPU, Memory, EBS)

· Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes

· Deploy Hyper-V , ESXI server, configure & maintain Virtual machines end to end

· Administration, Problem solving skills, leadership, good communication, teamwork, decision making, able to communicate with Leadership team.
