Job Description: Manager – Talent Management (Contingent Workforce)

Role Overview

We are seeking an astute and strategic Manager – Talent Management with 8 to 10 years of professional experience to head our non-employee and contract staffing governance framework. In this business-critical role, you will act as the primary workforce partner overseeing a robust ecosystem of 350+ contingent workers—including Time & Materials (T&M) contractors, Statement of Work (SOW) consultants, and corporate interns—distributed across multiple business entities and Pan-India locations.

Position Logistics

• Experience Range: 8 – 10 Years
• Annual Budget: ₹18,00,000 – ₹20,00,000 Per Annum (18 – 20 LPA)
• Scope: Pan-India Strategy (Multi-Entity Ecosystem)
• Work Arrangement: Full-Time, Corporate Office

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnership

• Advise business unit leaders and stakeholders on selecting optimal contingent workforce deployment configurations that directly match project goals and operational timelines.

End-to-End VMS Operations

• Take functional ownership of the Vendor Management System (Incount VMS), smoothly executing high-volume onboarding, structural contract extensions, cross-entity transfers, exits, cost-center tracking updates, and critical quarterly mass-extension programs.

Market Analytics & Rate Benchmarking

• Source real-time market intelligence and perform rigorous rate-benchmarking studies to arm Hiring Managers and Corporate Procurement teams during contractor bill-rate negotiations.

Risk & Labor Compliance

• Proactively isolate potential legal vulnerabilities in contractor engagement setups; maintain a direct advisory loop with the corporate Legal counsel to guarantee complete compliance under Labor Laws.

Platform Continuous Improvement

• Architect functional enhancements inside the VMS platform to digitize timesheet controls, streamline automated management approval hierarchies, and clean up invoicing channels to optimize operational speed.

Mandatory Skills & Candidate Profile

• Experience Focus: 8–10 years of human resources or corporate talent management execution, with a prominent, clear track record handling large-scale temporary, vendor-managed, or variable contract staffing pipelines.
• Scale Capability: Prior success managing a distributed footprint of at least 300+ contingent/external workers across multiple commercial entities in India.
• VMS Mastery: Solid background tracking resource workflows within modern VMS platforms (Incount, Fieldglass, Beeline, or equivalent configurations).
• Legal Literacy: High comfort level interpreting local regulatory constraints, independent contract guidelines, and third-party employment laws in India.
• Stakeholder Influence: Excellent professional communication and negotiation skills, showing a clear ability to align conflicting priorities among Hiring Managers, Staffing Suppliers, and Procurement groups.
