Position: Manager – Transport Management
Location: Vikaasa Heritage School, Madurai

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the school’s transportation operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely student and staff commute.
• Oversee bus routes, schedules, vehicle allocation, and route optimization.
• Ensure compliance with transport safety regulations, school policies, and statutory requirements.
• Supervise drivers, attendants, and transport support staff.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance, servicing, insurance, permits, and fitness certifications.
• Handle parent queries, transport-related concerns, and emergency situations effectively.
• Maintain transport records, vendor coordination, fuel consumption reports, and operational budgets.
• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for transport personnel.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; additional qualification in Transport, Logistics, or Operations Management is preferred.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in transport, fleet, logistics, or operations management, preferably in an educational institution.
• Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and transport management systems.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 – ₹35,000.00 per month
