Role Description:

The Marketplace Analyst I position is a full-time, remote role based in Kolkata. The role involves analyzing e-commerce marketplace data to provide insights for enhancing brand performance.

Daily tasks include monitoring sales trends, managing product listings, conducting competitor analysis, and optimizing pricing strategies.

The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, track key performance metrics, and present actionable recommendations to improve marketplace outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency in data interpretation and use of spreadsheets or data analysis tools.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms, marketplace operations, and competitive benchmarking.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, pricing optimization, and relevant market trends is a plus.
• Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in e-commerce, analytics, or market research is advantageous.
