Description

We are recruiting for MDM Quality Officer in Ahmedabad, India.

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy and compliance of master data across Finance and Procurement domains. This role leads data quality initiatives, defines standards, and oversees governance processes to maintain high-quality data for operational and strategic decision-making.

Accountabilities

• Define and implement data quality frameworks, standards, and KPIs for all master data domains.
• Establish governance processes and ensure adherence to data policies.
• Lead profiling and validation of master data using dimensions such as Accuracy, Completeness, Validity, and Uniqueness.
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor data quality trends and compliance.
• Oversee root cause analysis for data quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain issue logs and ensure timely resolution within SLA timelines.
• Identify opportunities for automation in data quality checks and cleansing workflows.
• Recommend enhancements to tools and processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with Data Owners, Stewards, and business teams to enforce quality standards.
• Present data quality insights and recommendations to leadership and governance forums.
• Manage and mentor a team of MDM Quality Analyst; allocate tasks and monitor performance.
• Drive capability building and training on data quality best practices.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 3 years of related experience
• Experience in data quality management
• Understanding of data quality principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Understanding and exposure to data management systems and enterprise solutions.
• Experience with data governance and MDM tools and technologies.
• Familiarity with data governance and quality frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK)
• Expertise in Oracle EBS, Fusion and/or other MDM tools.
