Sony Pictures Networks is seeking an experienced National Head – Ad Sales, Marathi. The primary role of the incumbent is drive revenue growth for Sony Marathi by designing and executing medium-and long-term sales strategies aligned with cluster and network objectives, while maximizing monetization opportunities and market share.
Education
Post Graduate Diploma / MBA in Management or equivalent
Experience
15–18 years of experience in broadcast / media sales
Strong exposure to regional markets and ad sales ecosystem
Desirable Experience
Experience in leading high-revenue portfolios within GEC / regional channels Strong network across clients and media agencies
Exposure to integrated deals, branded content, and non-FCT monetization
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
Analyze industry trends, competitor landscape, and monetization models to co-create long- and medium-term sales strategy
Align closely with Channel Business Head to integrate sales and content strategies Develop and drive annual sales plans and cascade targets across the team Identify and build new revenue streams and markets
Revenue Delivery & Growth
Drive achievement of revenue targets and improve yield, wallet share, and margins Lead large, integrated deals and support cluster-level strategic pitches
Identify innovative monetization opportunities including brand integrations and special properties Optimize sales costs through efficient and effective practices
Client & Market Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and agencies
Drive client engagement initiatives to improve retention and unlock new opportunities Represent the network in industry forums to strengthen market positioning
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and manage team performance to ensure delivery of business goals Drive capability building, resource optimization, and team engagement
Partner with HR on interventions to enhance performance and reduce attrition
