Role Overview
We are looking for a Monitoring / NOC – Associate Engineer with up to 2 years of experience to support our IT Operations team. The role involves monitoring systems, applications, and infrastructure to ensure smooth operations and quick response to incidents. The candidate will be responsible for identifying alerts, performing initial troubleshooting, and escalating issues to the appropriate teams when required.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor production systems, applications, servers, and network infrastructure using monitoring tools.
Identify, investigate, and respond to alerts and incidents in a timely manner.
Perform first-level troubleshooting and escalate issues to relevant teams when necessary.
Track and update incidents in the ticketing system.
Perform routine system health checks and operational monitoring tasks.
Maintain incident logs and assist in basic root cause analysis.
Follow defined operational procedures and escalation processes.
Coordinate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to ensure system stability.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as New Relic, AWS Cloud watch mandatory.
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/Azure) is an advantage.
Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow.
Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
Experience
0–2 years of experience in NOC, monitoring, or IT operations.
Willingness to work in a shift-based monitoring environment (24X7)
