Role Summary
The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end operations, including inventory management, warehouse operations, order fulfillment, logistics, returns, vendor coordination, interpreting reports, identifying root causes, defining action plans, and providing recommendations to management and process improvement. The role requires ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining high service levels and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management
* Monitor inventory levels across warehouses and marketplaces.
* Ensure inventory accuracy and stock reconciliation.
* Coordinate with procurement and production teams for replenishment planning.
* Manage inventory aging and slow-moving stock.
2. Warehouse Operations
* Oversee daily warehouse activities including inward, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
* Ensure adherence to SLAs for order processing and shipment handover.
* Monitor warehouse productivity and efficiency.
* Implement SOPs and process improvements.
3. Order Fulfillment
* Ensure timely processing and dispatch of customer orders.
* Monitor order backlog and resolve operational bottlenecks.
* Coordinate with marketplaces and D2C teams to maintain service levels.
4. Logistics & Returns Management
* Manage relationships with courier and logistics partners.
* Track delivery performance, RTOs, and customer complaints.
* Ensure timely processing of returns and inventory updates.
* Drive initiatives to reduce logistics costs and improve delivery performance.
5. Team Management
* Lead warehouse and operations teams.
* Define KPIs and monitor team performance.
* Conduct regular training and performance reviews.
* Ensure discipline, productivity, and compliance with SOPs.
6. Process Improvement
* Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency.
* Develop and implement scalable processes.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
7. Reporting & MIS
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
* Monitor key metrics such as order fulfillment rate, inventory accuracy, dispatch TAT, return rate, and logistics performance.
* Present actionable insights to management.

Qualifications
* Graduate/Postgraduate in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
* 5–8+ years of experience in e-commerce, retail, D2C, or supply chain operations.
* Experience with OMS/WMS platforms such as Unicommerce.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Excel and MIS reporting.
Preferred Experience
* Experience managing marketplace and D2C operations.
* Exposure to apparel, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brands.
