Operations Coordinator – Remote Full Time NEW

MAKAN is a start-up reinventing the home furnishing experience and making it pleasant, easy, and convenient. We offer 2 key services to our customers:

• A furniture subscription service, adapted to new generations, and giving them the flexibility to decide later what to keep, return, or swap out. www.makanhome.ae
• A hassle-free curtains installation service called Kurtains www.kurtains.ae

After a successful launch in 2021, MAKAN furnished 1000 homes, got backed by an exceptional pool of investors, and we are hiring a solid team to accelerate our developmen

Kurtains was launched in January 2023, and has been on a rapid growth path installing over 9,000 curtains in over 3000 homes

What will you do at Kurtains?

Production and installation coordination with suppliers

• Ensure production and installation is on-track for next day
• Finalize installation schedules with customers and suppliers
• Ensure teams are reaching on time on installation day
• Manage permits and documents needed for installing at customer locations

Manage installation issues and resolutions

• Track issues reported by customers and suppliers
• Coordinate with suppliers to provide resolutions
• Schedule resolutions for concerns within 3 days

What do you need to apply?

• At least 3 years of experience in client-facing operations (shipping, logistics, transportation): if you like solving the daily logistic puzzle, this job is for you!
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English: at Kurtains client is king, we are looking for someone very patient with client, that can always find a solution that makes them happy
• Entrepreneurial spirit: you like building operations, and want to progress fast in your career. At MAKAN we recognize and promote talent
• Good grip on Microsoft Excel, and curious about to learning new digital tools
