For over two decades, BGR has helped founders, promoters, and investors across multiple countries de-risk CXO and site-head hiring in complex, regulated sectors.

BGR is now building a Sector Partner Network and is looking for a Partner – Sector Expert (Pharmaceutical & Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing).

The Role

This is a part-time, strategic, non-operational role for a senior leader from the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing ecosystem who wants to:

• Stay deeply connected to the industry without taking a full-time corporate role
• Work directly with promoters, boards, and CXOs on growth and leadership decisions
• Monetize sector insight, relationships, and judgment in a high-trust boutique platform

The selected Partner will work closely with BGR’s Founder & CEO and the internal research team.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a sector face for BGR in Pharmaceutical & Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing
• Open doors and make warm introductions to promoters, MDs, CEOs, BU Heads, Site Heads, and CHROs
• Co-shape critical mandates such as MD, CEO, COO, Site/Plant Head, Head of Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and key technical leadership roles
• Bring practical sector insight into role design, candidate evaluation, and final selection, especially around regulatory, quality, and scale-up challenges
• Participate in selected client meetings, reviews, and strategic discussions
• Help conceptualize sector-specific offerings such as succession planning, leadership for new plants/greenfield sites, and interim or fractional leadership solutions

This is not a traditional sales target or delivery role. It is a relationship, judgment, and sector credibility role.

Ideal Profile

This role is best suited for a senior professional who has:

• 15–25+ years in pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, vaccines, injectables, or related manufacturing segments
• Experience as MD, CEO, COO, Business Head, P&L Head, Site/Plant Head, or senior functional leader (Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Technical Operations, or Supply Chain)
• Strong credibility with promoters, boards, and CXOs in the pharma and biopharma ecosystem
• Deep understanding of global regulatory expectations, quality and compliance, technology transfer, capacity expansion, and operational excellence
• The desire to work in a sharp, founder-led, high-trust platform rather than a large generic setup
• Bandwidth for approximately 8–12 hours per month on a flexible basis

Prior executive search experience is not required. Sector depth, credibility, and leadership judgment matter more.
