Performance Marketing Manager – D2C E-commerce Brand
We are looking for a performance marketing manager to manage and scale paid advertising for a fast-growing D2C e-commerce brand. The role is ideal for someone who understands Meta Ads, Google Ads, creative testing, landing pages, CAC, ROAS, AOV, conversion rate, and repeat purchase behaviour.
The person should be highly numbers-driven but also creative enough to understand why certain ads, hooks, offers, and landing pages convert.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Advertising
Manage and scale paid campaigns across:
Meta Ads — Facebook and Instagram
Google Ads — Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube
Retargeting campaigns
Influencer whitelisting ads
Landing page and offer-specific campaigns
Daily monitoring of spend, CAC, ROAS, CTR, CPM, CPC, conversion rate, and contribution margin.
Optimise campaigns based on actual profitability, not just platform ROAS.
Creative Testing
Work with designers, video editors, influencers, and content creators to test new ad creatives every week.
Plan and test:
UGC videos
Problem-solution ads
Founder-style ads
Doctor/expert-style ads where compliant
Product demonstration videos
Before/after-style concepts where allowed
Offer-led creatives
Hook testing
Static ads
Reels-style videos
Create a structured creative testing system where each ad has a clear hypothesis.
Example:
“Men are more likely to buy when the ad focuses on confidence rather than medical treatment.”
Funnel Optimisation
Work with the website and Laravel team to improve:
Landing pages
Product pages
Checkout flow
Cart upsells
Bundle offers
Prepaid/COD flows
Abandoned checkout recovery
WhatsApp recovery flows
Post-purchase upsells
The person should not only run ads but also identify why customers are dropping off.
Reporting
Prepare daily and weekly reports showing:
Ad spend
Orders
Revenue
CAC
ROAS
Gross margin
Contribution margin
Prepaid vs COD performance
RTO impact
Best performing creatives
Worst performing creatives
Landing page conversion rate
Repeat purchase impact
The reporting should help the founder make quick decisions.
Growth Strategy
Find new ways to scale customer acquisition through:
New audiences
New offers
New landing pages
New creative angles
Retargeting flows
Influencer ads
Google search demand capture
Category expansion
Cross-selling products
Seasonal campaigns
They should be able to scale spend without blindly increasing budget.
Required Skills
Strong experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads.
Experience managing D2C/e-commerce ad budgets.
Strong understanding of CAC, ROAS, AOV, conversion rate, gross margin, and contribution margin.
Ability to analyse Shopify/custom website data, GA4, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and internal dashboards.
Experience working with creative teams to test ads quickly.
Understanding of landing page optimisation and customer psychology.
