About the role (Job Summary)
Chargebee is looking for a Performance Marketing Strategist to architect and operate our AI-first performance marketing function across paid and organic channels. Sitting within the Web Discoverability & Performance Marketing team, you’ll own the systems, workflows, and strategic logic that power our content and paid search programs — designing AI-driven pipelines, directing autonomous agents, and making the high-judgment calls that determine where and how we grow.
This is not a task-execution role. Most of the production work — content refreshes, ad copy generation, publishing QA, status tracking — is handled by AI systems you’ll be responsible for designing and governing. Your job is to ensure those systems produce the right outputs, that quality and brand standards are upheld at scale, and that the ads and content produced bring in high-fit pipeline. You’ll be held to quarterly lead generation and pipeline targets and equipped with best-in-class technology and thought partners to help you get there.
The best candidate combines strong marketing instincts with systems thinking — someone who is energised by the idea of building leverage rather than doing volume, and who can move fluidly between strategic questions and the technical details of how an AI workflow actually runs.
