The Role:

We are seeking a Merchandiser who can manage the end-to-end lifecycle of leather goods – from order confirmation to final delivery.

This role acts as the central link between buyers, sourcing, and production. You will ensure that development and production timelines are met, quality standards are maintained, and commercial targets are achieved.

You will operate at the intersection of coordination and control, ensuring that multiple moving parts align seamlessly to deliver consistent outcomes.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Managing the complete order lifecycle – from initial enquiry to shipment

• Coordinating with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure alignment on timelines and expectations

• Sourcing materials, components, and accessories with a focus on quality, cost, and availability

• Monitoring production progress and proactively resolving delays or challenges

• Ensuring adherence to quality standards across all stages of development and production

• Driving cost control through analysis, negotiation, and process efficiency

• Maintaining accurate documentation related to orders, materials, and shipments

• Supporting product development through sampling, costing, and material selection

• Tracking timelines across multiple orders and ensuring adherence to critical paths

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with buyers and vendors

Requirement:

• Relevant experience in merchandising within the leather goods industry

• Strong understanding of leather manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamics

• Ability to manage multiple orders and timelines simultaneously

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Attention to detail with a structured approach to execution

• Commercial awareness, including costing and margin understanding
