Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planning Engineer with hands-on experience in SAP (Business One / R3) to manage production planning, scheduling, and coordination activities. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal resource utilization, timely project execution, and seamless integration of planning processes within SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update production/project schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Utilize SAP B1/R3 for planning, material requirement planning (MRP), and data analysis.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including procurement, production, and logistics.
• Analyze demand forecasts and align production plans accordingly.
• Track project progress and highlight potential delays or risks.
• Ensure efficient inventory management and material availability.
• Generate reports and dashboards from SAP for management review.
• Continuously improve planning processes and system utilization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineer.
• 4–5 years of experience in planning/production scheduling.
• Hands-on experience with SAP B1 and/or SAP R3 (PP/MM modules preferred).
• Strong understanding of MRP, supply chain, and production workflows.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, EPC, or engineering industries.
• SAP certification (B1 or R3 modules) is a plus.
• Familiarity with advanced planning tools or ERP integrations.
