Production Process Planner
In this role, you will be responsible for providing the operational support to the Production Engineer (PE). You will execute projects and tasks in consultation with the PE. You will maintain existing working methods and support in development/implementation of new working methods.
Your responsibilities:
- Plan and optimize work processes, equipment, and standard times within the assigned value stream to ensure smooth operations.
- Define and maintain technical conditions for efficient production flow; recommend in-house vs. external manufacturing based on cost analysis.
- Implement and adapt operating equipment, processes, and NC programs for series production, new products, and engineering changes.
- Plan, optimize, and balance workplaces and equipment using MTM, line balancing, Poka-Yoke, and ergonomic principles.
- Create and maintain production plans, flow charts, and technical documentation; ensure feasibility and ISO-compliant release of production documents.
- Support procurement of new machines and tools by evaluating latest manufacturing and machining technologies; manage and optimize tool stores.
- Monitor productivity, tool life, and tooling costs; drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide operator training as needed.
- Lead or support operational and optimization projects to meet quality, cost, and efficiency targets, working closely with Production Engineering and Value Stream teams.
Our requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 7+ years or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of experience.
- Very good Communication skills.
- Ability to work individually and in an international team.
