Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Professional Sales Manager role based in Kozhikode. The Professional Sales Manager will lead and coach a team of medical representatives to achieve sales, coverage, and execution targets for assigned products and territories. The role involves planning and implementing territory-wise sales strategies, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and ethical promotion practices. The manager will build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, distributors, and channel partners to support brand growth and market penetration. Day-to-day responsibilities include joint field work with team members, conducting regular reviews and trainings, analyzing sales data and market trends, and providing timely feedback and reports to senior management. The Professional Sales Manager will also collaborate closely with marketing, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of campaigns, availability of products, and high standards of customer

service.

Qualifications

• Proven sales leadership experience in pharmaceuticals or healthcare, including managing and developing field teams and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong skills in territory planning, sales forecasting, and data-driven performance analysis, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation abilities to engage healthcare professionals, channel partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated coaching, mentoring, and people-management skills, with a focus on performance management, motivation, and capability building.
• Sound knowledge of pharma market dynamics, competitor landscape, and compliance requirements, including ethical promotion and regulatory guidelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in Management or Marketing is an advantage.
• Comfort working on-site in Kozhikode, with readiness for regular field travel within the assigned geography.
• Proficiency in basic digital tools (CRM systems, spreadsheets, presentations) and openness to adopting new technology and reporting platforms
