Project Manager – IT Data Center Full Time

Position: Project Manager

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech+ MBA

Certificate: PMP or Prince 2 Certified

Experience: 10+ Years after education

Notice: Immediate/15 Days

Onsite Location: Bhopal

Roles and responsibilities:

Project Manager of Data Center:

· BE/B. Tech + MBA with minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Data Center Implementation/ Operations

· PMP/Prince 2

· In charge of the entire O&M Process

· Single Point of Contact for Govt. for all interactions regarding Datacenter

· In charge of OEM Escalation and ensuring that spares and services are available On-Demand

· Would head the weekly in-house review meetings

· In charge of Overall Site Infrastructure (both IT and non-IT)

· Manpower lead for the project

· Would approve Major Change Requests and Reports before submission to Govt. for approval

· Would take on the role of Physical Security Manager and IT Security Policy enforcer for the

· The Project Manager would in turn be guided by Senior Directors from SI.

· Would ensure Site Inventory and maintain a log of changes in DC equipment.

Proven experience as a Project Manager in Data centre operations.

Strong understanding of Data centre technologies and infrastructure, including experience in:

Ø Server technologies

Ø Storage systems

Ø Database management

Ø Operating systems – Redhat/Windows/etc.

Ø Network architecture

Ø Virtualization technologies – Redhat/VMWare/etc.

Ø Cloud computing platforms

Ø Cybersecurity practices

Ø Non-IT infrastructure (e.g., power, cooling, physical security)

Ø Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Ø Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Ø Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Ø Proficiency in project management software and tools.
