Role Description

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Project Manager – WMS to lead and manage Warehouse Management System implementation and support projects across multiple client locations. The role requires strong expertise in warehouse Management, supply chain processes, client management, and project delivery.

The individual will be responsible for end-to-end project execution including requirement gathering, solution design coordination, implementation, testing, go-live management, stakeholder communication, and post-implementation support.

Exposure to INFOR WMS implementation and deployment projects would be an added advantage. While candidates with INFOR experience will be preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead end-to-end WMS implementation and enhancement projects.
• Define project scope, timelines, resource planning, and delivery milestones.
• Ensure timely execution and successful project delivery within budget and quality standards.
• Track project progress and manage risks/issues proactively.
• Conduct project status meetings and share regular updates with stakeholders.

WMS Implementation & Support

• Understand warehouse business processes including inbound, outbound, inventory, picking, packing, dispatch, and replenishment.
• Coordinate with business users to gather functional requirements.
• Work closely with technical and functional teams for solution configuration and customization.
• Support UAT, SIT, and go-live activities.
• Ensure smooth transition during hyper-care and stabilization phases.

Stakeholder & Client Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Manage client expectations and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Conduct workshops, requirement discussions, and process walkthroughs.
• Build strong relationships with business and operational teams.

Team Coordination

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, infrastructure, and operations.
• Guide project teams to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure adherence to project governance and documentation standards.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for warehouse process optimization and automation.
• Recommend best practices in WMS operations and supply chain execution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Project Management with a proven ability to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time
• Expertise in Expediting and Expeditor tasks to ensure timely procurement and delivery
• Experience in conducting thorough Inspections and quality assurance
• Proficiency in Logistics Management with a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Experience in WMS implementation is highly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
