Project Team Leader / Principal Survey Director Full Time NEW

Position Objective:

The Project Team Leader will act as the principal architect and executive director of the 12-month surveying operation in Hamirpur. This individual will orchestrate the convergence of remote sensing teams, on-ground DGPS/Drone operators, and statutory compliance experts to deliver flawless, georeferenced data to the District Magistrate’s office.

Core Responsibilities & Deliverables:

*   Operational Command: Direct all day-to-day field operations, ensuring seamless coordination between drone flight paths, DGPS ground-truthing teams, and remote GIS analysts.

*   Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison to the DM Hamirpur, the Directorate of Geology and Mining (Lucknow), and other state regulatory bodies. Lead all technical presentations and defend methodologies during QCBS evaluation panels.

*   Regulatory Enforcement: Ensure all data collection, boundary demarcation, and reporting strictly adhere to the UP Mineral Avoidance Rules 2021, the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, and MoEFCC guidelines.

*   Quality Assurance: Institute rigorous QA/QC protocols to guarantee 100% spatial accuracy across all deliverables (KML, Shapefiles, PDFs, XLSX databases) before submission to the government portal.

*   Risk Mitigation: Anticipate and resolve field-level challenges including adverse weather impacts on drone flights, local community relations, and hardware logistics.

Mandatory Qualifications & Proven Experience:

*   Academic Background: Master’s Degree (M.Tech/M.Sc.) in Geoinformatics, Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences, or a highly relevant discipline.

*   Professional Tenure: Minimum 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in managing large-scale, state-sponsored land, topographical, or mining surveys.

*   Demonstrated Success: Must possess verified Work Completion Certificates demonstrating successful leadership of projects exceeding 1,000 hectares for State or Central Government bodies in India.

*   Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of hybrid surveying techniques (combining satellite data, LiDAR, UAV photogrammetry, and DGPS).
