Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled professional for the role of Head of Purchasing (HOD) to join our team full-time at our facility in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. The Purchase HOD will oversee procurement processes, manage supplier relationships, negotiate purchase agreements, and ensure that all purchases are cost-effective and meet the company’s quality standards. The individual will also track supply chain performance, optimize inventory levels, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational efficiency. This is an on-site position requiring a dynamic leader with strong decision-making and analytical abilities.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Purchasing Processes, Purchasing, and managing Purchase Orders
- Expertise in Purchase Management, including procurement planning and supplier negotiations
- Excellent Analytical Skills to evaluate costs, negotiate deals, and optimize supply chain performance
- Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams effectively
- Proficiency with purchasing software and tools is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
- Work experience in the valve or manufacturing industry is an added advantage
