Supply Chain Executive 

Job Description:-

Role Purpose

To ensure seamless material flow from vendor to shopfloor to dispatch for engineered products, maintaining strict control on project timelines, inventory, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Material Planning

Plan raw material based on BOM and project schedules

Track long lead items and ensure timely availability

Coordinate with design for BOM accuracy and revisions

2. Procurement Coordination

Raise purchase requisitions as per MRP and project priority

Follow up with vendors for timely delivery

Track critical and high-value items

3. Inventory Control

Monitor RM, WIP, and FG inventory

Avoid shortages and excess stock

Maintain FIFO and stock accuracy

4. Shopfloor Coordination

Ensure material availability before job start

Coordinate daily with production team

Resolve material mismatch issues

5. Dispatch & Logistics

Plan dispatch as per project schedule

Ensure proper documentation (invoice, e-way bill)

Coordinate transport and dispatch tracking

6. MIS & Reporting

Maintain project-wise material status

Track shortages and inventory ageing

Report critical issues to Plant Head

7. Vendor Management

Follow up for delivery commitments

Coordinate for quality clearance

Support vendor performance tracking

Key KPIs:

-Zero line stoppage due to material shortage

-On-time project execution

-Inventory turnover improvement

-Reduction in dead stock

-Vendor delivery adherence

Qualifications:

-B.Tech / Diploma (Electrical / Mechanical preferred)

-3–6 years in manufacturing / -project-based industry

Skills:

-BOM understanding (multi-level)

-ERP (SAP preferred)

-Excel proficiency

-Strong coordination & follow-up

-Behavioral Expectations

-Proactive approach

-Strong ownership

-Works under pressure
