Job Summary:
The QA/QC Civil Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System at site, ensuring all construction activities comply with project specifications, approved drawings, and relevant standards. The role involves inspections, documentation, coordination with client/consultant, and ensuring high-quality execution of civil works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor the Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures at site.
- Conduct stage-wise inspections for civil works such as concreting, reinforcement, formwork, finishing, and structural works.
- Ensure compliance with approved ITP (Inspection Test Plan), QAP (Quality Assurance Plan), and Method Statements.
- Review and verify material approvals, test certificates, and lab reports.
- Coordinate with site execution teams to ensure quality standards are maintained during construction.
- Raise and track NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) and ensure timely closure with corrective actions.
- Maintain proper documentation including inspection reports, checklists, and quality records.
- Liaise with client, consultant, for approvals and inspections.
- Monitor concrete quality, including batching, pouring, curing, and testing (cube tests, slump tests, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards such as IS codes
