R2R Accountant Full Time NEW

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong expertise in handling the UK accounting process. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in end-to-end accounting, including Record-to-Report (R2R) and Profit & Loss (P&L) management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end accounting processes for UK-based clients/entities
• Handle Record-to-Report (R2R) activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closures
• Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and financial reports
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with UK accounting standards and regulations
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
• Support audits and ensure timely closure of audit requirements
• Maintain general ledger and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial data accuracy and reporting
• Identify process improvements and drive efficiency in accounting operations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in UK accounting processes
• Expertise in R2R (Record-to-Report) cycle
• In-depth understanding of P&L management and financial reporting
• Knowledge of UK GAAP / IFRS standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• CA / ACCA / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification
• Experience working with UK-based clients or in a shared services environment
