Role Description

A Real-Life Geographical Content Creator produces engaging videos that showcase real-world landscapes, environments, and human–nature interactions. The role involves capturing on-location footage of physical features such as rivers, urban areas, and ecosystems, while explaining their geographical significance in a clear and relatable way.

The creator research topics, plans shoots, records visuals, and provides simple explanations of concepts like land use, climate, and environmental change. Tools such as QGIS or satellite imagery from NASA may be used to enhance storytelling.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field. Knowledge of concepts like landforms, climate, and human geography is essential.

Fieldwork & Observation:

• Ability to capture real-life geographical features (urban areas, rivers, landscapes) and explain them clearly through visuals and narration.

Adaptability & Creativity:

• Willingness to travel, work outdoors, and create engaging, informative content in diverse environments.
