Retail Business Analyst Full Time

Purpose of the Job

The role will focus on data-driven decision making, store expansion strategy, performance analysis, cost optimization, and strategic initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiency across the retail network.

Key Deliverables

• Support development of long-term retail growth strategy including market expansion and new store formats and new brands.
• Identify growth opportunities across geographies, categories, and store formats.
• Evaluate new retail concepts and business models.
• Evaluate store feasibility based on catchment analysis, footfall potential, and competition
• Analyze store performances including sales productivity, same-store sales growth, and profitability.
• Analyze data to generate insights on customer behavior, product performance, and sales trends.
• Prepare strategy dashboards and reports, using Power BI and Tableau
• Work on cost optimization parameters such as rent, manpower, and supply chain costs

Education & Industry Experience

• MBA from Tier-1 Business school
• Minimum 5 yrs experience
• Experience in Apparel and Accessories Industry
• Experience in identifying markets for store expansion, category expansion is must
