Position: Retail Merchandiser
Location: BKC, Mumbai
Qualification & Experience
– Bachelor’s degree (Retail Management, Fashion, or Commerce preferred).
– 2–6 years of experience in retail merchandising (Jewelry industry preferred).
– Proficiency in MS Excel and related retail systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory & Stock Management
– Monitor store-wise inventory levels to ensure optimum stock availability.
– Track fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving SKUs.
– Coordinate stock replenishment and inter-store transfers.
– Assist in finalizing designs and assortment planning.
2. Sales & Performance Analysis
– Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
– Identify category-wise performance trends (gold, diamond, solitaire, etc.).
– Track sell-through and margin performance.
– Support target allocation and achievement tracking.
– Coordinate new collection launches and assist in promotional planning.
3. Coordination & Communication
– Coordinate with store managers regarding stock requirements.
– Work closely with the warehouse and backend teams.
– Maintain updated product master data, including pricing, SKU codes, and attributes.
– Support the Senior Merchandiser with MIS reporting.
4. Market & Trend Support
– Track competitor pricing and market trends.
– Assist in identifying customer demand patterns.
– Provide store feedback to the product and design teams.
Key Skills Required
– Basic understanding of Jewelry categories (gold, diamond, solitaires, bridal sets, etc.).
– Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel.
– Effective communication and coordination skills.
– Understanding of retail KPIs (ASP, conversion, sell-through, stock turn).
