About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead and drive sales operations for the assigned region. The ideal candidate should have strong FMCG Food industry experience, extensive distributor management expertise, and a proven track record of delivering sales growth, market expansion, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive regional sales performance and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue.
• Manage and strengthen distributor and channel partner networks across the region.
• Appoint new distributors and expand market coverage in identified territories.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Area Sales Managers, Territory Sales Officers, and field sales teams.
• Monitor primary and secondary sales performance and ensure target achievement.
• Ensure effective execution of trade marketing activities, promotions, and product launches.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and customer requirements.
• Maintain optimal stock levels and ensure efficient supply chain coordination.
• Conduct regular market visits to review distributor operations and sales team performance.
• Prepare sales forecasts, business plans, and periodic MIS reports for management review.
• Ensure collection efficiency and adherence to company policies and processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Marketing preferred.
• 10–15 years of sales experience in the FMCG Food industry.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Area Sales Manager or Regional Sales Manager.
• Strong understanding of General Trade, Modern Trade, and Distributor Management.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving profitable growth.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical and business planning capabilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
