Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Safety Manager at our facility in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The Safety Manager will be responsible for maintaining and improving health, safety, and environmental standards across the organization. Key duties include conducting safety training, overseeing compliance with occupational health regulations, leading accident investigations, implementing safety policies, and driving initiatives to promote a culture of safety in industrial operations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) practices
• Experience in developing and delivering comprehensive Safety Training programs
• Proficiency in conducting thorough Accident Investigations and determining root causes
• Expertise in Industrial Safety protocols and compliance with local and international regulations
• Ability to lead and manage safety initiatives effectively in an industrial setting
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Certifications in EHS or occupational safety (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 45001 internal auditor certification) are preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
• Experience in heavy industries or manufacturing is an advantage
