Chemicals is an extremely important large and fragmented market with multiple inefficiencies in cross border trade. The global speciality chemicals market is $800bn growing at a CAGR of 5.7%. The industry faces glaring challenges including lack of trust, excessive lead times, quality uncertainty, lack of transparency and tons of operational challenges.

In the past 20 months of the company’s operation, we have scaled up our operations serving in more than 32 countries and have active partnerships with more than 100s of customers and suppliers. The company has raised a total of upwards of $7.5mn from marquee investors like InfoEdge Ventures and Prime Venture Partners.

Our highly ambitious team comprises alumni from IITs, IIMs, NITs and have extensive experience of working in startups as well as multinational companies.  Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support the identification and development of new business opportunities for Elchemy’s products and services in the US Personal Care market
• Assist in executing sales and market strategies for Chemical Sales, working closely with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives
• Help prepare proposals, quotations, and sales presentations for new leads and potential deals
• Manage day-to-day communication with existing customers, support key accounts, and identify opportunities for repeat sales or upselling

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2-5 years experience in international sales/business development preferably within the Chemical sector.
• Should have an excellent verbal communication & presentation skills 
• Should have an excellent proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint  
• Should have an ability to work in high-energy, fast-paced cross-functional teams. Should have an entrepreneurial bent of mind, strong business acumen and good network.
