SAP Project Manager – India Full Time NEW

Global Enterprise Partners is looking for an SAP Project Manager with a background in SAP Lumira/BI/BOBJ/SAP Data Analytics to join our global client in the manufacturing industry. This role is a remote opportunity based in India. Please see details below.

Responsibilities:

Project Delivery

• Accountable for end‑to‑end delivery of assigned IT projects from initiation through to closure, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource plans in alignment with company IT PMO standards.
• Lead project execution activities including scope management, timeline management, cost control, risk and issue management.
• Ensure delivery aligns with agreed business objectives, value drivers and success measures.
• Manage project interdependencies and escalate risks or constraints in a timely manner

Governance & Methodology

• Apply and adhere to company IT project management methodology (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid as appropriate).
• Prepare and present materials for project governance forums, steering committees and checkpoints (status, risks, financials, decisions required).
• Maintain clear project documentation including charters, RAID logs, status reports, change requests and closure artefacts.
• Support feasibility, planning and estimation activities where required, ensuring realistic scope, effort and delivery assumptions.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Act as the day‑to‑day point of contact for project sponsors and key stakeholders.
• Proactively manage stakeholder expectations through regular communication and transparent reporting.
• Coordinate and manage third‑party vendors and delivery partners, ensuring contractual obligations, milestones and outputs are met.
• Facilitate effective collaboration between business, IT domain teams and external partners.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead cross‑functional project teams (business, IT, partners), fostering collaboration, accountability and delivery focus.
• Provide clear direction to team members, ensuring responsibilities and deliverables are understood.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO practices, templates and ways of working.
• Act as a role model for disciplined delivery, professionalism and company values.

Requirements:

• Experince in SAP Lumira, BI, BOBJ, or SAP Data Analytics
• 7+ years’ experience delivering complex IT/SAP projects as a Project Manager or equivalent role.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross‑functional project teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of project management practices, including planning, governance, risk and financial management.
• Experience working in an enterprise IT environment covering areas such as applications, ERP, data, analytics, infrastructure or integration.
• Professional project management certification highly regarded (PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile certifications).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging business and IT stakeholders.
