Job SummaryWe are seeking an organized and highly responsible School Manager to oversee the operations and boarding logistics of our residential school campus. In this role, you will manage facilities, supervise non-teaching staff, coordinate student welfare services, and ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate has exceptional management skills, responds well to emergencies, and possesses a strong commitment to student well-being.Key Responsibilities

• Facilities Management: Oversee maintenance, housekeeping, utilities, and security for the entire campus and boarding houses.
• Student Welfare: Coordinate with medical staff, hostel wardens, and chefs to ensure high-quality healthcare and catering.
• Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and manage non-academic personnel, including security, kitchen, and cleaning staff.
• Logistics & Events: Manage transport schedules, procurement of provisions, and coordination of evening/weekend student activities.
• Crisis Management: Act as a primary responder for campus emergencies, medical incidents, or facility breakdowns.
• Budget Oversight: Develop and monitor budgets for campus upkeep, food services, and operational supplies.
• Parent Relations: Address parent inquiries and concerns regarding residential facilities, transport, and non-academic matters.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the campus adheres to local fire, health, sanitation, and child safety laws.

Skills and Qualifications

• Operations Management: Strong capability in managing large-scale facilities, food services, and hospitality logistics.
• Crisis Leadership: Ability to remain calm, decisive, and efficient during emergency situations.
• Interpersonal Skills: Empathetic communication style suited for a diverse community of children and young adults.
• Problem-Solving: Quick critical thinking to resolve infrastructure issues or scheduling conflicts on a 24/7 campus.
• Organization: Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple operational moving parts simultaneously.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Education Administration, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of administrative or operational management experience, preferably within a residential school or boarding environment.
• Clean background check / police clearance for working with minors.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evening or weekend shifts, as required by a residential environment.
