Job Description:

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Java software development and automated testing.
• Experience in developing automated test scripts for web applications.
• Familiarity with Agile software development processes and tools.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Preferred: Experience working with RESTful APIs and integration testing.
• Alternative qualifications: Demonstrable skills through automation projects or contributions to open-source testing frameworks.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated Playwright test scripts.
• Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and test scenarios.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives following Agile methodologies.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and communicate findings effectively.
• Review peer test code and provide constructive feedback.
• Continuously improve testing frameworks and processes by adopting modern tools and practices.
• Keep up-to-date with technology trends, focusing on test automation and Java development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Java development and automated testing is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in test automation or Java development are a plus.
• Commitment to ongoing learning through workshops, courses, and professional development.
